Philip Clemo has been creating evocative sonic landscapes for nearly 30 years, releasing seven albums that push the boundaries of form, improvisation, electronica, and orchestration. He has collaborated with an extraordinary range of musicians, including Arve Henriksen, Byron Wallen, B J Cole, Henry Lowther, Theo Travis, Evi Vine, Cleveland Watkiss, Emily Burridge, Simon Edwards, Pete Lockett, Martin Ditcham, and Martyn Barker, and worked closely with renowned engineer Phill Brown (Traffic, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Talk Talk) to create immersive, richly textured sonic spaces.
His latest album, Through the Wave of Blue (Nov 2024), blends drones, atmospherics, brass, woodwind, strings, guitar, piano, electronics, and hypnotic rhythms into a deeply cinematic, intricate sound world.
